WPC DECKING

WPC decking, or composite decking, is a decking material solution made from a unique combination of plastic and wood. WPC stands
for Wood Plastic Composite and this composite is made up of 45% timber fibres and 55% HDPE and additives.

WPC is split resistant and splinter free while natural wood is not. WPC is more durable and weather resistant than natural wood. WPC is not affected by water, snow or heat. WPC is a hybrid material which has the quality of wood and ease of working like plastic.

The big advantage for WPC over laminate is that it is waterproof and suitable for environments in which laminate shouldn't normally be used—typically bathrooms and basements that have potential moisture infiltration.

2.How do you maintain WPC decking?

Generally, soap and water is all that is required to clean WPC decking. Dirt and Debris The affected area should be sprayed off with a hose to remove surface debris. Use warm soapy water and a soft bristle brush to remove dirt and debris from the embossing pattern.

3.Is WPC stronger than wood?
